As there is normally some value associated with scrap metal, whether ferrous metals or non ferrous metal, you will not normally need to pay a hire charge for skips, roll on / roll off containers or bulkers.

Sims Metal Management offers a range of skip sizes to suit your volume of drosses, skimmings, filings, turnings or other types of scrap metal waste. Choose a contract length that suits your business too.

For manufacturers and local authorities with larger volumes of scrap metal waste, a Rolonof container may be a more suitable size than a skip. Choose from a wide range of capacities and service lengths.  As part of this service we provide transportation of the containers.

Sims Metal Management provides a range of artic transportation solutions, to help your organisation transport larger volumes of surplus or scrap metal. These include Hiab trucks (on board lifting equipment) and flat bed trucks.
