Local recycling news from Sims Metal Management Bristol
Sims Metal Management South West region held a safety awards evening in Bristol on August 15th to present the South West regional safety award for the year 2008/2009. The award was won by the team at Gatton Road in Bristol for achieving the lowest audit and site inspection scores throughout the year.
General Manager Richard Frampton, who presented the trophy said, "Lee Sands and Paul Meehan deserve special mention for their efforts and enthusiasm in delivering the SimsMMway safety programme. Recognising the efforts of Joe Patch and his team during SimsMMway implementation has definitely created a positive culture change towards safety throughout the South West region."
The other Sims Metal Management scrap metal recycling centres in the region are based in Avonmouth, Bodmin, Camborne, Exeter, Plymouth, Taunton and Poole.
